Early Intervention focuses on supporting young children in building essential skills during a crucial stage of brain development, giving them the strongest possible foundation for learning and growth.
What does Early Intervention look like:
- Individualised Support for children 0-7 years of age
- Collaboration: Working closely with families, caregivers, therapists and other educators
- Skill Development: Supporting foundational skills like communication, motor coordination, emotional regulation, and early literacy/numeracy through play-based experiences and activities.
- Family Support: working with parents and caregivers to develop strategies to support their child’s development at home.
Waitlist support is immediate support for children who are on allied health waitlists.
Since wait times can be long, support during this period is crucial!
Engaging Interactions provides both short-term and ongoing support for children who are currently on therapy waitlists. We offer child-centred support, activities, targeted strategies, and family guidance to ensure children continue to make progress. Our goal is to bridge the gap during this critical period by helping children develop essential skills, while also providing support and guidance to families and educators.
